• Execute day-to-day technical and strategic mandates within your expertise, coordinating with BBA's internal disciplines across Canada
• Deliver protection and design solutions: equipment and design specifications, detailed design, vendor bid evaluation, factory acceptance testing, vendor drawing review
• Design relays, settings, configurations for various applications (lines, transformers, capacitor banks, etc.)
• Perform system studies (short circuit, load flow, interconnection, protection)
• Conduct technical reviews and oversee engineering and design activities
• Expand relationships with existing clients and support new client acquisition
• Support the execution of BBA's strategy and action plan

Overview of certifications and job requirements

• Electrical Engineering degree and registration as a Professional Engineer in Canada
• 12 years of experience, specializing in Protection Engineering
• Experience in large industrial, power generation, and utility sectors
• Proven experience with various vendors and protection schemes
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to handle diverse tasks and challenges effectively
• Knowledge of project management practices
• Working knowledge of electrical design standards (CSA, IEEE, ANSI/IEC)
