  • Construct design documents and documentation to aid in maintenance and code reuse.
  • Collaborate with cross-platform teams for internal and external integrations.
  • Participate in scaling and operational activities of the service.
  • Provide support in resolving critical issues and participate in post-production activities.
  • Coach and mentor junior developers.
  • Translate project goals and product roadmaps into organized technical tasks.
  • Provide technical guidance and support in resolving critical issues.
  • Take end-to-end responsibility for features, ensuring they are delivered with quality and on time.
What You’ll Need
  • You are a pro backend developer, and are eager to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • You should have experience with some of the following:
    • Java, Spring framework ecosystems, Microservices, JUnit, Gradle, Swagger, Hoverfly
    • Database design and performance tuning
    • Docker, Kubernetes, Istio
    • Logging, monitoring and alerting

    • Experience with TDD
  • We are hoping to find someone with as many of the following as possible:
  • Strong experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs
  • Strong understanding of systems and microservices design
  • Experience designing and building distributed systems
  • Knowledge of computer networks and security
  • Some site reliability engineering experience
  • Some understanding of cloud architecture in GCP or other providers
  • Bonus: knowledge or experience with Server Driven UI architecture
  • You care about owning your piece of work and proactively work on improving it.
  • You are a team collaborator and express your technical opinions to your seniors.
  • You have worked on large applications in a team environment.
  • You have experience with code refactoring and performing changes in the code.
  • You are a good communicator and can present complicated solutions to a non-technical audience.
  • You make decisions based on data and are versed with tools to measure every aspect of the application.
