Overview

Infosys is seeking a Business Analyst / Senior Consultant. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs.

Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in the below location will be:
Ontario: $ 89,004 to $ 103,042

Responsibilities

• Interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Help define requirements elicitation, architecture design, and design artifacts.
• Deliver high quality module code deliverables and lead validation for various testing types; support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty.
• Provide product demos to key stakeholders and lead production business validations in partnership with product managers.
• Partner with scrum teams on rollout and post-production support; write user stories and groom the backlog in collaboration with the team.
• Coordinate with testing partners and execute functional test cases.

Required Qualifications

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Toronto, Ontario or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 4 years’ experience as Business Analyst in Banking / Digital applications.
• Strong understanding of online banking, online account opening, open banking architecture and reusable APIs across digital channels.
• Strong understanding of banking concepts such as loans, mortgages, payments, credit cards.
• Understanding of technical mapping elements and mapping of request and responses.
• Excellent communication skills at leadership level.
• Experience in Scaled Agile or similar Agile framework.
• Support the Product Owner and scrum team’s priorities in PI planning, sprint planning, and other agile ceremonies, collaborating with core technical team, product managers, experience design, and technology partners.
• Good understanding of business processes and use of design principles and automation to optimize processes.
• Align with product managers to articulate product strategy to the scrum team and define MVP based on prioritization techniques.
• Operate with little supervision and troubleshoot complex problems; recommend appropriate actions.
• Collaborate with solution architects and technical leads to address program priorities while balancing client experience and technical integrity.
• Write user stories and groom the scrum team’s backlog in partnership with the team.
• Manage release-specific business documents (e.g., support models, go/no-go approvals, internal release notes).
• Provide product demos to key stakeholders.
• Lead production business validations in partnership with product managers.
• Partner with scrum teams on rollout and post-production support.
• Good understanding of Digital and Core Banking applications and related interfaces.
• Developed data mapping, policies and procedures for digital retail/commercial products.
• Coordinate with testing partners and execute functional test cases.
• Experience with requirement elicitation techniques (JAD/sessions, workshops, interviews, surveys, etc.).
• Experience with Business Analysis tools (HP ALM and MS Visio).
• Experience in development/configuration/solutions evaluation/validation and deployment.
• Experience in capturing requirements related to internal/external consulting, documenting, and mapping current business processes.
• Willingness to travel for client engagements in a management consulting environment.
