2B CCSI is seeking an experienced construction professional for our Senior Construction Project Manager position. The candidate should have proven hands‑on experience in wood‑frame and modular construction for projects ranging from 3 to 6‑floor buildings. Our projects include multi‑unit residential buildings, community‑oriented developments, and affordable housing initiatives.

The Senior Construction Project Manager will assist in the growth of operations in Atlantic Canada, work closely with Senior management, andbe responsible for the day‑to‑day coordination, sequencing, and oversight of all site activities. The ideal candidate understands and has experience in wood construction, modular methods of construction, and rural development. The candidate will be able to work with clients through development design to provide value engineering and pre‑construction services, and can proactively lead trades to deliver quality work, safely, and on schedule.

Role Description

This is a full‑time Senior Construction Project Manager role based in Atlantic Canada. The Senior Construction Project Manager will be responsible for:

  • Meeting with clients and project teams regularly, through predevelopment to provide pre‑construction services
  • Managing construction administration, which will include construction contracts with clients and subtrades
  • Developing project budgets and schedules
  • Leading daily site operations, including coordinating trades, deliveries, inspections, and site logistics
  • Reviewing and interpreting construction drawings, shop drawings, and project specifications
  • Tracking progress against the schedule and reporting delays, risks, and resource needs
  • Maintaining a safe site environment in compliance with safety policies
  • Conducting toolbox talks, site orientations, and documenting health & safety records
  • Verifying installation quality and compliance before inspections or cover‑ups
  • Identifying, communicating, and resolving site issues with subcontractors and the project team
  • Maintaining site documentation: daily logs, deficiency lists, site instructions, RFIs, etc.
  • Represent the company professionally with clients, consultants, inspectors, and trades
Qualifications
  • 5+ years’ direct experience supervising wood‑frame construction (townhomes, stacked units, low‑rise apartments, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of the Building Code, construction sequencing, and trade scopes
  • Ability to read architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings
  • Solid leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide trades
  • Valid Ontario driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Proficiency in basic digital tools (Outlook, Teams, phone apps, photos, PDF markup, etc.)

Salary range $95,000.00 to $110,000.00/year based on qualifications and experience.
