Job summary

A prominent infrastructure firm in Ontario is seeking a Compliance Officer responsible for overseeing adherence to regulatory and safety standards on projects. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree and 5–7 years of experience in compliance or risk management, preferably in the infrastructure sector. This role involves developing compliance systems, monitoring regulations, and liaising with various stakeholders, ensuring ethical compliance across all project functions.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in compliance, audit, or risk management on large infrastructure or transit projects.
• Strong knowledge of Ontario’s regulatory environment and construction law.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and Environmental, Health & Safety compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal legislation.
• Develop, implement, and maintain the project compliance management system.
• Prepare compliance reports for internal stakeholders and public agencies.
• Act as a liaison between Trillium Guideway Partners and stakeholders.
