Qualifications

  • 7+ years of relevant BA/BSA experience in agile environments.

  • 3+ years experience using SQL queries.
  • Experience in writing user stories.
  • Experience in requirements analysis and quality documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Excel with vLookup and pivot tables.

Senior Business Analyst (AML)

Position ID: J1125-1550 | Category: Business Analysis (functional and technical) | Main location: Canada, Ontario, Toronto | Employment Type: Full Time

Position Description

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our client office (Toronto) a minimum of 1 day per week - subject to change at any time. As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for executing business analysis activities within a matrix organization to advance assigned business initiatives and ensure project success. You will act as a liaison between project stakeholders by serving as single point of contact with respect to requirement expertise, requirement management process and will actively participate in all phases of a project life cycle. This role requires interaction with multiple AML Management groups as well as other Technology teams.

Your future duties and responsibilities
  • 7 or more years of experience in a BA role handling user story, documentation, requirements gathering.
  • You have experience working within an Agile environment as a member of a technology team responsible for supporting applications involving client and regulatory data. Understanding of Capital Markets products and client onboarding processes (such as AML/KYC, Risk Assessment etc.) is an ideal.
  • You have clear articulation and communication skills, detail oriented and organized in nature; can lead in testing of system changes and coordinate User Acceptance Testing by creating and executing Test Plans; will be able to assess research, analyze and document sponsor/stakeholder needs in accordance with project deliverables.
