Qualifications

• 6+ years experience developing high-volume web applications using Java.
• 2+ years experience with Amazon Web Services.
• Client side experience – JavaScript, React / Redux or similar / HTML / CSS / Sass.
• Server side experience – Java, DBs, hosting in an AWS environment.
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical issues.
• Experience with unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD).

Responsibilities

• Understand application and service architectures to design solutions.
• Communicate with users and technical leaders to collect requirements.
• Develop frontend experiences using React.
• Propose changes to improve performance and scalability.
• Guide a large scrum team for TurboTax web experiences.
