Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Android Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications that meet the needs of our users and clients. You will leverage your expert knowledge of Kotlin, the Android development lifecycle, and various development tools to deliver robust and innovative mobile solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and adhere to the Android development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features in a timely manner.
  • Implement Unit Tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
  • Optimize applications for performance and scalability.
  • Utilize Firebase Remote Config to enhance app functionality without releasing new versions.
  • Integrate and analyze data using Analytics tools like Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics to drive informed decision-making.
  • Monitor app health using tools such as Datadog and Crashlytics to ensure stability and improve user experience.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using Bitrise and GitHub Actions for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in mobile development and share knowledge with the team.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, share best practices, and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Android Developer with a strong portfolio of released applications on the Google Play Store.
  • Expertise in Kotlin and proficiency in Java.
  • Thorough understanding of the Android development lifecycle and Android UI best practices.
  • Strong experience in writing and maintaining Unit Tests.
  • Experience with Firebase Remote Config and familiarity with Firebase tools.
  • Knowledge of Analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics.
  • Familiarity with health monitoring tools like Datadog and Crashlytics.
  • Proficient in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using Bitrise and GitHub Actions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts.
