What you'll do

As a key member of the Supply Chain Accounting team in Accounting Operations, you will work in a fast-paced environment to record and analyze transactions related to inventory; leased assets and related intercompany transactions, as well as work to make accounting processes more efficient.

This is a temporary position with an intended term of 1 year.

The day-to-day

• Preparation of journal entries related to inventory, leased assets and related intercompany transactions and eliminations, as part of the month end close process
• Monthly account analysis and review of related source documents
• Working closely with business to investigate and resolve issues related to inventory and leased assets
• Running transaction processes and reports in accounting system, as part of month end close process; including order settlements, preparation of other monthly reporting
• Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and other supporting working papers
• Provision of assistance in completion of year-end audit, statutory account audits, tax filings and other ad hoc requests
• Participation in special projects regarding inventory and leased assets, including process improvement and automation

What you'll need

• Undergraduate degree or higher in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting/Finance, with progress towards a professional accounting designation
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience in similar accounting roles
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level of knowledge)
• Excellent analytical skills; good problem solver
• Strong communications skills, both written and verbal, required
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
