Description

We are seeking highly motivated security professionals to provide exceptional security services across a wide range of industries including manufacturing financial services telecommunications corporate construction and others.

Candidates must possess a reliable vehicle and demonstrate full availability for casual on-call shifts across various times. Flexibility and the ability to travel between multiple sites within Guelph Ontario will be required.

Position Overview : Wages : $18.00 / hr

Shift timings : Varies (Days Afternoons Nights and Weekends. Preference for those who can work different types of shifts)

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• De-escalate tense situations by verbal communication using a variety of techniques designed to reduce risk.
• Escort medical staff including paramedics police and firefighters when required.
• Respond to medical emergencies and be prepared to perform CPR and AED if needed.
• Unlock and lock doors for access by authorized persons. Denying entry to anyone without authorization.
• Assist with coverages at various sites to enhance security at strategic locations.
• Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel when security breaches occur.
• Monitor CCTV footage and cameras for irregularities and perform dispatch duties for the site including emergency response.
• Perform foot patrols inside and outside the facility.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Valid Ontario Security License

Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate

G or G2 class drivers license is required. Vehicle is required to travel to the sites.

1 year Security Experience.

Thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures including emergency response.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Excellent customer service experience.

Effective communication skills.
