Overview

Are you passionate about providing excellent customer service and making sure our community is safe? We are seeking professional, reliable, and customer-focused Security Guards to help maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and the public. This role requires strong observation skills, professionalism, and the ability to respond effectively to a variety of situations. We are expanding our sites in General Duties, Healthcare, Campus, Industrial, Mobile, Events in Cranbrook, Sparwood, Elkford, Fernie, anywhere in the East Kootenay Region.

Responsibilities
  • Provide a visible security presence and maintain a safe environment
  • Patrol premises, monitor access control, and report irregularities
  • Respond to emergencies, alarms, and incidents with professionalism
  • Enforce site rules, regulations, and safety procedures
  • Complete detailed and accurate daily reports
  • Deliver excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and the public
Qualifications
  • Valid BC Security License
  • Basic Occupational First Aid Training is an asset
  • Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License and a reliable vehicle is an asset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
  • Previous security or customer service experience is an asset
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
