Security Analyst

What you will accomplish with us
As a security analyst, you will be at the heart of our mission. Here are your main responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our external partner and business lines to develop and structure our data leak prevention (DLP) program.
- Participate in developing the DLP vision.
- Participate in the creation and resolution of security incidents related to data leaks.
- Participate in raising user awareness of DLP.
- Actively participate in the evolution of technological solutions related to DLP technologies.
- Participate in the drafting of use cases, playbooks, incident response plans, and their automation.
- Collaborate in the review of processes and procedures under the responsibility of the team.
- Collaborate in the execution of security controls and monitoring under the responsibility of the team.
- Identify and record risks in accordance with the process in force.
- Identify and participate in the automation of certain tasks.
- Participate in and lead the gathering of customer requirements related to DLP.
- Participate in the conceptualization of solutions.
- Act as the team's technical spokesperson to internal bodies within the Information Technology Vice Presidency and to various external groups on the components for which he or she is responsible.
What could accelerate your success in this position
Required background:
- Minimum 10 years in IT, including 4 in cybersecurity, specifically in data leak prevention.
- Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies.
- Experience with DevSecOps and cybersecurity.
- Knowledge of monitoring systems (SIEM) and the cloud.
- Understanding and experience with Purview as code.
- Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and encourage continuous learning.
- Demonstrate analytical, processing, coordination, and collaboration skills.
- Possess good communication, writing, and popularization skills.
- Enjoys and promotes contact with internal/external partners/users (superior interpersonal skills).
- Excellent French and English language skills, both oral and written, due to frequent interactions with English- and French-speaking colleagues and internal partners across Canada and the United States.
- (Asset) Cybersecurity certifications.
- (Asset) Knowledge of endpoint protection solutions.
- (Asset) Knowledge of Microsoft cloud protection solutions.
