🌟 Now Hiring: Scheduler – Morgan Creek Seniors Community (Part-Time 0.6 FTE)
Location: South Surrey, BC

Morgan Creek Seniors Community is seeking a part time Scheduler who will be is responsible for coordinating and maintaining all staff scheduling functions for the site to ensure consistent, safe, and compliant staffing coverage across nursing and support services. The role ensures schedules align with funded hours, collective agreement requirements, and operational needs. The Scheduler maintains real-time schedule accuracy, manages short-call coverage, processes staff requests, and communicates promptly and professionally with employees and leadership.

Position Details:
  • Prepare and maintain master schedules in alignment with funded hours, collective agreements, and site requirements.
  • Maintaindaily, weekly, and monthly staffing rosters.
  • Manage urgent shift replacements due to sick calls, call-outs, or emergent absences.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and adjust staff schedules to ensure safe, consistent, and contract-compliant staffing coverage.

  • Manage daily staffing needs, including short-call replacements, sick calls, and urgent coverage gaps.

  • Communicate promptly and professionally with staff and leadership regarding schedule changes, availability, and staffing issues.

  • Maintain accurate scheduling records, including availability, seniority, vacations, and entitlements in accordance with policy and collective agreements.
