The Sales Support Associate role is an integral part of the store’s overall success and efficiency; demanding direct attention to our brand commitment when servicing our customers. Leaving a lasting impression on our customers through friendly, efficient interactions at our cash wrap and a well-maintained sales floor. Accurate and effective work, supporting the flow of product from the moment of receipt through the point of sale is essential to this role.

Responsibilities
  • CASH WRAP: Greet the customer with a smile and eye contact and offer your name; interact genuinely; read cues to determine needs; conduct email/name capture where permitted by law; maintain accuracy at POS; keep the cash wrap organized and clean; suggest add-ons and sell gift cards; maintain cash and POS media in compliance with Coach policy; thank the customer and provide a reason to return; represent Coach brand appropriately.
  • STOCKROOM / WAREHOUSE: Receive shipments/transfers; notify Store Management on new product arrival; scan cartons/transfers and verify information; communicate discrepancies; process shipments/transfers per Coach standards and timeframes; organize and clean stock room daily; shift/organize product for sell through; manage stock levels; prepare and conduct regular cycle counts as directed; participate in store inventory counts; maintain Loss Prevention standards.
  • SALES FLOOR: Regularly analyze the sales floor to assess replenishment needs; replenish floor/zone; respond to sell-through and execute visual merchandising needs; support sales floor activities; communicate price points, features/benefits, color and stock availability to customers; respond to requests and partner with sales team or Store Management as needed; uphold housekeeping standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Experience: 1-3 years of previous retail experience (cashier/stock, sales, etc.), preferably in a luxury retail service environment. Knowledge of fashion trends and competition in the marketplace.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Technical: Knowledge of cash register systems, basic computer skills (using iPad/laptop, Mobile POS, Internet), ability to use walkie talkie, read price and product release sheets.
  • Physical: Ability to work at a fast pace; effective communication with customers and team; ability to maneuver the sales floor, shelves, and stock room; ability to climb, bend, kneel; frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and, at times, up to 50 pounds for shipments/transfers.
  • Schedule: Ability to meet Coach Scheduling & Availability Expectations, including flexible schedules with nights, weekends, and holidays during high retail traffic periods.
