CGC Inc. is currently recruiting Sales Representative in the Greater Toronto Area.

This is a challenging opportunity for a motivated individual to demonstrate their selling and customer service skills in a fast‑paced sales environment.

Duties and responsibilities of the Sales Representative include:

  • Reporting to the Sales Manager - Ontario, the successful candidate will be responsible for promotion, sales, and service of our products to dealers, distributors, and contractors.
  • With a passion for customer service and commitment to follow through, the Sales Representative is responsible for growing sales volumes by building relationships and providing the required support to dealers, distributors, and contractors.
  • Influencing customer loyalty by delivering a high level of customer service via proactive contact, industry knowledge, networking, product training, deep technical product knowledge, large project coordination, job quotes and prompt complaint resolution.
  • Developing strong relationships with internal departments including marketing, distribution, customer service and accounting.
  • Working within general guidelines and procedures, exercising independent judgment while being committed to safety, quality, reliability and customer service.

The ideal candidate will have experience in sales, customer service and/or marketing (preferably in the building materials industry) and a post‑secondary education in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

This challenging position offers a competitive compensation package and a company auto. The base salary is dependent upon education and experience.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Architecture, or a related field. Significant relevant experience may be considered degree equivalent.
  • 3 years minimum customer‑faced experience (technical expertise and industry knowledge is preferred).
  • Excellent communication, public speaking, and customer service skills.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills.
  • People and results‑oriented, incorporating and emphasizing safety and quality in all aspects of the daily work environment.
  • Proven success at working independently with a sense of urgency and high level of customer focus.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills. Proficient with MS Office Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to influence, negotiate, and resolve conflicts to reach consensus around common goals.
