ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Sales Representative – Customs Brokerage & Freight Forwarding, you will lead new business development efforts across the Greater Vancouver Area, targeting companies that import and export goods across North America and globally. You will focus on building relationships with logistics managers, supply chain coordinators, and business owners, offering tailored freight forwarding and customs clearance solutions. This hybrid role is ideal for a self-directed, experienced sales professional who understands cross-border logistics and thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment. Compensation includes a base salary of $70,000 to $90,000, with OTE between $100,000 and $120,000 in the first year.

  • Hybrid : 1 day / week in-office (Vancouver, BC)

EXPERIENCE, BACKGROUND & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • 2-10+ years of B2B sales experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain industries
  • 2 years experiences with customs brokerage and / or freight forwarding highly preferred
  • Experience selling to small and mid-sized businesses across varied sectors
  • Excellent communicator with strong relationship-building skills
  • Confident working independently and managing your own pipeline
  • Comfortable with CRM systems, Google Workspace, and basic quoting tools
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and accountable

SALES CYCLE / ORDER VALUE / ACCOUNT SIZE
  • Sales Cycle : 1–3 months
  • Typical Monthly Revenue per Client : $2,000 – $10,000
TYPICAL DAY & DUTIES
  • Drive new business development through outbound prospecting and lead follow-up
  • Conduct discovery calls and meetings (phone, Zoom, and in-person)
  • Collaborate with internal operations to prepare accurate quotes and onboarding documentation
  • Guide prospects through the benefits of switching providers or integrating new services
  • Manage CRM updates, follow-ups, and proposal tracking
  • Build strong, ongoing client relationships to support retention and upselling
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and client pain points

  • 30% Warm Inbound or Referral-Based
