Responsibilities
  • Managing sales team and floor management
  • Training and developing staff
  • Interviewing and hiring
  • Scheduling and ensuring compliance with provincial legislative requirements
  • Resolving customer issues
  • Sales forecasting and target achievement (volume, value-added products and services, etc.)
  • Evaluating and managing sales reports (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly)
  • Performance management and action plan development
  • Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Managing daily store operations
  • Maintaining store and employee safety and security
  • Monitoring competitors ('shopping the competition')
  • Conducting daily and weekly sales meetings
  • Planning and managing sales promotions and contests
  • Other duties as assigned
