In this position, you will:
  • Proactively build and maintain effective business relationships with allocated customers within the region, providing high-level contact via face-to-face, phone, email, and digital media.
  • Respond to sales enquiries and provide quotations for products and services.
  • Conduct, arrange, and assist with marketing activities and training courses.
  • Work with the regional team to deliver technical support and stay actively involved in key projects through to successful outcomes.
  • Drive demand creation and business development activities within new and existing customers.
  • Implement account sales plans and strategies to ensure sustainable growth.
  • Review, evaluate, and report on sales activities and initiatives, including timely and accurate CRM reporting.
  • Seek and manage opportunities to sell all Emerson products and collaborate with relevant counterparts.

For this position, you must have:
  • Tertiary engineering or technical qualification within instrumentation, process, or automation fields (or relevant practical experience).
  • Tertiary business or marketing qualification highly regarded.
  • More than 5 years of sales or marketing experience selling instrumentation (or similar) into process industries (e.g., Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Mining & Minerals, Food & Beverage, Power).
  • Strong business acumen and ability to manage technical and commercial relationships.
  • Exposure and technical understanding of process instrumentation technologies (Pressure, Temperature, Contact & Non-Contact Radar).
  • Account management experience.
  • Highly developed sales skills and strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of business drivers.
  • Extremely driven, motivated, and enthusiastic, with excellent time management skills.
