Job Responsibilities

The Sales Director supports program initiatives by managing client relationships, leading the sales team, and improving campaign operations.

Client Relationship
  • Understand client needs and how our services meet them.
  • Possess thorough knowledge of the software industry and related business environments.
  • Evaluate our performance both quantitatively and qualitatively.
  • Establish program deliverables with the client.
  • Provide strategic insights to improve performance.
  • Ensure client expectations are met or exceeded through all program phases.
  • Maintain regular contact to assess satisfaction.
  • Update leadership on client program status.
  • Meet all program timelines and deliverables.
  • Document SOPs for programs.
Sales Management
  • Lead and support the inside sales team and managers.
  • Ensure sales goals are met.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate sales managers.
  • Conduct regular team and individual meetings.
  • Ensure adherence to sales processes and compliance with HR policies.
  • Communicate new processes and capabilities.
  • Leverage cross-functional partnerships to achieve results.
  • Identify and implement process improvements.
  • Maintain high-quality standards and meet deadlines.
Service Improvement
  • Provide summaries for quarterly client reviews.
  • Analyze program results and ROI.
  • Identify improvements and monitor program health.
Qualifications

A successful Sales Director will have:

  • College degree in business, marketing, or related field.
  • 5+ years in Client Services or Business Management.
  • 8+ years in marketing and sales leadership.
  • Experience with P&L and budgeting.
  • Knowledge of solution-selling methodologies.
  • Experience with enterprise software solutions.
  • Deep understanding of client’s products and culture.
  • Entrepreneurial drive and work ethic.
  • Experience managing virtual teams.
  • Strong customer and partner focus.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • High ethical standards and integrity.
