Job summary

A leading wine retailer in Ottawa is looking for a Wine Merchant to provide exceptional customer service while engaging with customers in a fun and flexible work environment. Training in wine education and participation in community initiatives are part of this role. Candidates should have retail experience, be able to lift heavy items and work flexible hours.   • Perform POS (point of sales transactions) and merchandising tasks, such as receiving shipments and replenishment
  • Meet and exceed shift targets
  • Participate in community-driven initiatives and festivals.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • 19 years of age or older. High School or equivalent education is required.
  • Smart Serve Certification is required.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job include lifting up to 21 kilograms, standing, reaching, bending and climbing ladders.
