Job Summary:

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Nurse Call & RTLS Specialist/Technician is responsible for designing, programming, commissioning, and servicing multiple healthcare technologies including but not limited to RTLS and nurse call systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, program, service, troubleshoot, repair, maintain and inspect RTLS and nurse call systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with the network electronic systems and software.
  • Commission front-end workstations & servers.
  • Ability to troubleshoot existing installations or utilize as-built drawings and documentation where available to correct deficiencies and repair systems without supervision.
  • Provide onsite validation and testing of RTLS and nurse call systems.
  • Ensure customer requests and status are followed up on time and in a professional way.
  • Perform all assigned preventative maintenance, repair and emergency service calls.
  • Develop and maintain a cooperative working relationship with the company’s team of managers, engineers, and technicians; the client; and consulting engineers.
  • Effectively communicate and maintain project status with Management, Contractors, and Customers.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma, or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent job-related knowledge.
  • Must have a minimum 3 years related experience in RTLS and nurse call systems.
  • Must be computer literate, have networking ability and a good knowledge of operating systems.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • System integration and technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience in system integration, network topology and Virtual Environment.
  • Experience with Information Communication Technology design in the health care environment.
  • Experience in delivering RTLS and nurse call solutions.
  • Technical writing skills to support documentation of problem resolution / solution improvement.
  • Knowledge of technology deployed in the Health Care environment.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.

The hourly range is $28-$42.
