Job Description

AECOM is hiring a Roadway Contract Administrator for our team to be based in one of our offices in Markham, Mississauga, Toronto, Sault Ste. Marie, Barrie, North Bay, or Sudbury, ON.

This is a full-time role expected to begin as soon as possible.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist the Project Management team in reviewing and implementing RFIs and change orders.
  • Review project costs and schedules to ensure completion within budget and in conformance with specifications.
  • Work with document control systems, project management systems, and other software or databases to keep information flow up-to-date and accurate.
  • Attend meetings and report on project tasks as needed.
  • Monitor design changes, contractor and subcontractor activities, and progress.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • University Degree in Civil Engineering + 2 years of experience on MTO projects OR College Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology + 4 years of experience on MTO projects.
  • OACETT Registration as a Road Construction Contract Administrator (RCCA) is required.
  • Completion of Ministry of Transportation T131 Advanced Claims Dispute Resolution training is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ideally 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with CMS.
  • Proven ability and experience in successfully administering highway/structure construction contracts.
