Job summary

A prominent educational institution in London, Ontario is seeking a Prep and Planning Teacher for an LTO assignment at St. Jude Catholic Elementary School. Qualifications
  • Must have a Bachelor of Education Degree and be in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
  • For an applicant to be considered qualified for the position, the applicant shall hold the required qualifications, as per the Education Act and Regulations (as recorded on the Ontario College of Teachers Certificate of Qualification at the time of this posting), in the subject(s) and division(s) identified in this posting.
Skills and Experience
  • Previous elementary teaching experience preferred
  • Teaching experience in a Catholic school system is preferred
  • Working knowledge of the Ontario Catholic Graduate Expectations, Ethical Standards for the Teaching Profession, and the Standards of Practice for the Teaching Profession
  • A practicing Catholic with an active Catholic Faith life
  • Proficient knowledge & understanding of Ontario curriculum, evaluation & assessment techniques
  • Current understanding of research, integrating technology and best instructional practices
  • Effective classroom management skills and ability to create a welcoming and safe Catholic learning environment for all students
