Position details

Position: Permanent/Camp/FIFO

Location: Firebag, Fort McMurray, Alberta

Work Schedule: 14 days on, 14 days off; 12-hour day shifts

What will I be doing?
  • Office and Field Operations: Oversee day-to-day activities, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to company policies.
  • Leadership & Supervision: Lead and manage teams, delegating tasks to foremen/forepersons, and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Worksite Observations: Conduct safety and operational observations, address employee needs, and maintain a safe, efficient work environment.
  • Safety & Incident Management: Ensure all employees are fit for duty, respond to incidents, report injuries, and investigate near-misses and hazards.
  • Tracking & Administration: Handle reporting, tracking, and daily administrative duties related to operations.
  • Client & Partner Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, customers, and business partners.
  • Employee Development: Lead training initiatives, set goals, and support ongoing development and performance.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure safety regulations and applicable laws are followed to maintain a compliant workplace.
