We are seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to join our team. You will oversee day-to-day operations and ensure exceptional dining experiences. This full-time role involves supervising staff, managing budgets, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. You will also be responsible for recruiting and training employees, fostering a positive work environment, and optimizing service efficiency.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate all aspects of daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service and optimal guest satisfaction.
  • Build and manage an effective front-of-house team through hiring, training, scheduling, and performance coaching.
  • Oversee financial controls including budgeting, cost monitoring, and revenue optimization.
  • Maintain accurate inventory systems and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely stock replenishment.
  • Uphold health and safety standards in accordance with provincial and federal guidelines.
  • Resolve customer concerns with a focus on service recovery and maintaining brand reputation.
  • Develop and implement efficient systems and procedures to improve operational performance and team productivity.
  • Collaborate with kitchen leadership to enhance menu delivery, timing, and overall guest experience.

Employment requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years in restaurant or food service management.
  • Experience with budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization.
  • Skilled in stock control and supplier coordination.
  • Familiarity with food safety and workplace compliance standards.
  • Comfortable using POS systems and restaurant management software.
