Responsable Régional, Sciences de la Vie - Canada

Regional Lead, Life Sciences - Canada

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Regional Lead for Life Sciences in Canada is accountable for optimizing existing life sciences accounts and identifying new opportunities to expand JLL's presence throughout the country. This role combines business development with operational excellence, focusing on developing new accounts and ensuring client satisfaction across the region.

The Regional Lead will create and implement strategic account plans to delight clients and foster long-term relationships. They will anticipate client needs, deliver outstanding performance on key indicators, and build financial plans aimed at exceeding revenue and profitability targets. The Regional Lead will also create and manage high-performing teams that deliver operational excellence while keeping employees engaged and thriving. Working in conjunction with the Life Sciences Division and Work Dynamics leadership team, they will align regional strategies with the firm's overall goals and translate these into business opportunities.

Primary Responsibilities
Exceeding Client Expectations
  • Develop and execute regional account plans that align with client objectives and drive high-quality results
  • Secure contract renewals and expand services provided to existing clients
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Canadian life sciences sector
  • Establish outstanding relationships with key stakeholders through soliciting feedback and delivering world-class service
  • Oversee the coordination and delivery of integrated service offerings including Integrated Facilities Management, Project and Development Services, Transaction Management, and Engineering and Technical Services
Building High Performing Teams
  • Ensure the highest qualified candidates are hired for all roles in the region
  • Develop actionable and measurable career development plans for all direct reports
  • Advance the firm's strategic priorities through strategic talent planning in partnership with HR
Business Development
  • Expand existing accounts by identifying and capitalizing on cross-selling opportunities
  • Partner closely with JLL's Solutions Development, brokerage and Project and Development Services (PDS) teams to create integrated solutions for clients
  • Actively participate in and lead Request for Proposal (RFP) processes and new business pursuits
  • Conduct client site tours to showcase JLL's capabilities and build relationships with potential clients
  • Develop and maintain a strong network within the Canadian life sciences industry
  • Identify emerging market trends and opportunities to drive growth in the region
  • Create and deliver compelling presentations and pitches to prospective clients
Achieving Financial Results and Contributing to Firm's Revenue Growth
  • Present annual regional plans including key objectives, client satisfaction results, value-add activities, and targeted expansion strategies
  • Proactively manage regional budgets and identify opportunities to generate additional revenueMitigate risk for the firm by maintaining A/R below 60 days payable
Job Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in life sciences, facility management, or commercial real estate, with a focus on the Canadian market
  • Proven capabilities in developing integrated facility management solutions for life sciences companies
  • Extensive experience hiring, training, and retaining teams in a client service environment
  • Demonstrated success in business development and account growth within the life sciences sector
  • Strong understanding of the Canadian life sciences landscape and regulatory environment
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or post-graduate studies preferred
