Job description

L-Ray Plumbing & Heating is a well-established family owned business since 1985. We provide services in plumbing, heating, gas furnaces, in-floor heating systems, custom sheet metal, central air conditioning, and fireplaces.

Responsibilities

• Measure and mark sheet metal according to template
• Operate metalworking machines to cut, pinch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal
• Inspect products to ensure quality and conformity to specification
• Cut materials using power tools or by hand
• Fit and join sheet metal parts
• Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes
• Other duties as required

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

• Preferably Licensed, Sheet Metal Worker Trade Certification, 3rd or 4th year, Gas Fitter License, Driver’s License. Pay is based on experience and skill set.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
