Join our Rentals & Repair Team and help keep skis and snowboards running at peak performance all winter. This role focuses on high-quality tuning and maintenance for both guests and rental equipment, operating the Wintersteiger Jupiter robotic tuning machine, and supporting daily repair shop operations. The ideal candidate brings strong equipment knowledge, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering top-tier service in a fast‑paced mountain environment.
ESSENTAIL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to the following):
- Perform wax & edge tuning, maintenance, and repairs on skis and snowboards for guests and rental gear.
- Operate the Wintersteiger Jupiter tuning machine.
- Provide exemplary guest service, assess repair needs, explain services, and provide recommendations.
- Accurately adjust bindings according to manufacturer specifications and guest requirements (binding certifications provided).
- Providing ongoing support to the other members of the repair team.
- Maintain and service the rental equipment fleet to ensure performance and safety.
- Repair damaged equipment quickly and effectively, using industry-standard tools and techniques.
- Support Rental Shop operations as needed during busy periods.
- Follow all safety protocols and promote a culture of safety in the workshop.
- Operate POS systems accurately when assisting with sales or service transactions.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment.

QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES:
- Previous experience in a workshop environment or similar field.
- Binding certification required (training provided).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision in all technical work.
- Able to lift and move equipment or boxes up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods while performing repairs.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, problem solving and decision‑making skills.
- Ability to work unsupervised for extended periods.
- Previous experience in ski/snowboard repair (robotic tuning machine experience is an asset).
- Passion for outdoor/snowsports activities.
- Dependable and a self‑starter – completes tasks independently and follows through.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Highschool or equivalent.
- Prior Ski Binding Certification is an asset.
- Experience in the ski resort (an asset).
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Legally able to work in Canada.
- Driver’s license and reliable/insured vehicle with good winter tires (an asset).
