We are now hiring Registered Practical Nurses (RPN) for senior living homes in Stouffville, Ontario. Our client offers a competitive compensation package! Candidates must have a current certificate of registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario (RPN) and be able to provide a copy of their nursing license to demonstrate good standing.

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Utilize sound nursing practice principles and provide nursing care in accordance with policies, physician's orders, and the resident plan of care.
  2. Identify the needs of residents and develop and maintain appropriate care plans.
  3. Ensure timely and accessible admissions for residents.
  4. Ensure the supply, control, and safekeeping of drugs and narcotics, and follow protocols on all shifts.
  5. Hold a Diploma in Practical Nursing and be currently registered as a Registered Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  6. Possess sound nursing knowledge in geriatric care and nursing administration.
  7. Have knowledge of the Nursing Home Act and Regulations, the Health Disciplines Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, Pharmacy Act, and Food & Drug Act.
