Bonuses:

Job Summary:

The Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre seeks a licensed RPN responsible for assessing, planning, and providing interventions according to the Standards of Practice (RPN College of Nurses of Ontario), aligning with hospital goals for assigned patients.

Qualifications:

• Current certificate of competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a licensed Registered Practical Nurse.
• Current Basic CPR certificate.
• Current pharmacology certificate.
• Preferred: Six months to one year of experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with staff and residents.

Job Duties:

• Provide nursing interventions within the RPN Scope of Practice.
• Availability to work all shifts and sites as assigned.
• Willingness to work the current 12-hour shift rotation and weekends.
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and demonstrate a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations.
• Consistent attendance is essential.
• Understanding First Nation culture and speaking Oji-Cree is an asset.
• Adhere to policies on infection control, including cleaning, hand hygiene, and PPE use, and attend related training.
