Overview

Do you have a passion for nursing? We have the position for you! We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse with a dedication for delivering compassionate patient care to join our team at the MS Clinic. Reporting to the Regional Lead, this position is a member of the Regional MS Team and Clinic, which includes a Medical Lead and Neurologists. The Regional MS Team provides specialized clinical care for patients who are newly diagnosed with MS, MS patients experiencing unexpected symptoms/declining and those on specialized medications which require follow up. The MS Nurse also functions in an advisory and consultative capacity to support and mentor primary care givers in every care setting that support MS clients, and provides specialized MS assessment, treatment and follow up in the Regional MS Clinic at UHNBC.

Utilizing expert knowledge and skills the Nurse Consultant works collaboratively in their assigned area to build capacity among Primary Care providers in all care settings through consultation for clients and families with complex needs and providing formal and informal education. Provides leadership and advocacy to improve quality of care.
