About the role
The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality person centred nursing care in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Standards for Practice for Registered Nurses, and the Policies and Procedures of the Ministry of Health (MoH) and Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD).
The Adult Mental Health Service provides community based clinical intervention for people who have a severe and enduring mental illness, providing ongoing monitoring of the patients physical and mental health.
Nursing care is provided utilising the principles of Trauma Informed Care and Recovery and in accordance with the National Practice Standards for Mental Health Workforce 2013 and the NSW Health Mental Health Competencies.
