A regional health authority in Victoria, Canada, seeks a Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing care. The role emphasizes patient safety and quality improvement. The ideal candidate will have registration with the BC College of Nurses, effective communication skills, and a stated ability to work in a clinical environment. Reports to the Nurse Manager, Department Head, or designate. Plans and provides direct nursing care to patients/residents in the hospital or in the community in accordance with the unit/program philosophy, competency guidelines, policies, and the BC College of Nurses and Midwives Standards for Nursing Practice in British Columbia.
Education, Training And Experience
Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant. Up to two (2) years recent, related experience depending on clinical setting.
