Job summary

Overview

Qi Integrated Health is seeking RCCs and Social Workers to join our thriving clinic in the heart of Kitsilano. This is an opportunity to build your practice alongside acupuncturists, physiotherapists, massage therapists, and more, within a truly integrated, collaborative environment.

In addition to supporting patients in your counselling practice, you'll also have the option to participate in our fully insured PsyQi Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy program. Here, counsellors help ensure continuity of care by supporting patients through their psychedelic experiences. No prior psychedelic therapy experience is required. Training and mentorship are provided under the guidance of Mark Haden, a leading expert in the field.

Qualifications
  • Must have a Master 27;s degree in Counselling / Clinical Psychology / or equivalent degree and be registered with a regulatory college (eg, RTC, RCC, CCC, or other professional associations)
  • Treating ICBC patients considered a strong asset
Ideal Experience
  • Experience in the treatment of a range of mental health symptoms with a variety of adult clients.
  • Clinical knowledge in the areas of grief / loss, depression, anxiety, trauma, and adjustment issues.
  • Training and experience with a number of therapy approaches (e.g., CBT, ACT, CPT).
  • Experience preparing assessment, progress and discharge reports.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, solid judgment, and integrity
  • Experience with Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy / guiding considered an asset (but not a must, as training will be provided)
