Qualifications

• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Current N95 mask fitting is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Conduct treadmill exercise tolerance testing.
• Perform exercise or Dipyridamole myocardial perfusion imaging testing.
• Complete ECGs and Holter hook-ups.

Alberta Cardiology & Medical Consultants is seeking a full-time Registered Cardiology Technologist!

Alberta Cardiology & Medical Consultants is a newly established and budding cardiac clinic located in the modern Whitemud Professional Centre in Edmonton, AB. We specialize in stress testing, myocardial perfusion imaging, Holter and BP monitoring, ECG, echocardiogram, and cardiovascular consultations. Future service expansions could include: carotid Doppler, stress echocardiogram, pulmonary function testing, and sleep studies. A day in the life of a cardiology technologist

• Treadmill exercise tolerance testing
• Exercise or Diprydamole myocardial perfusion imaging testing
• Performing ECGs
• Holter hook-ups and analysis
• Blood pressure monitor hook-ups and preparing reports
• Administrative duties
• Assisting colleagues as needed

You should have

• Graduated from an accredited school of cardiology technology
• Be certified with Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists and Alberta Society of Registered Cardiology Technologists and in good standing
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
• Current N95 mask fitting
• Knowledge of Norav Medical programs is an asset but not necessary as training will be provided
