Job summary

A leading insurance company in Halifax is seeking an experienced customer service representative to provide efficient service and insurance advice to clients. You will assist with policy changes and aim to achieve sales goals. Candidates must have 3 years of insurance sales experience and a valid General Insurance license. Excellent communication skills are required, along with relevant post-secondary education. This is a full-time role with a Monday to Friday schedule.

Job description

• Providing knowledgeable, effective and efficient customer service to clients in person or on the phone, offering insurance advice, processing policy changes and entering changes directly into the insurance computer system Monday - Friday 9:30am - 5:30pm
• You will achieve sales goals by working within department standards for quality.
• In conjunction with Supervisors, participate and provide input into team meetings, standards, procedures and special projects.

Who You Are

• 3 years Insurance sales experience
• Currently hold a valid General Insurance license
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written
• Post-secondary education in a related field, and/or working towards CIP designation is an asset
