This 115-year-old non‑profit organization has an annual operating budget of over $70 million dollars and generates revenue through four activity streams: the 15‑day annual summer Fair which averages more than 700000 people annually, Playland amusement park which welcomes 400000 guests annually including Fright Nights, and a busy year‑round portfolio of events including concerts, trade shows and film cultural and community total we bring over 2 million people through the site each year. The fourth activity stream is park care and facility maintenance. What will you do this year

In your role as a Recruitment Coordinator your primary accountabilities will be to :

  • Support full‑cycle recruitment for all roles with multiple vacancies including sourcing screening interviewing and coordinating the hiring process.
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop effective staffing strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Manage and update candidate information in the applicant tracking system (iCIMS).
  • Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates to ensure a smooth and professional hiring experience.
  • Maintain documentation of recruitment processes and People & Culture procedures.
  • Provide general administrative support to the People & Culture team responding to inquiries and assisting with day‑to‑day operations.
  • Apply best practices in talent acquisition to attract and secure top talent.
  • Contribute to People & Culture projects and other duties as needed.
What else
  • Diploma or degree in Human Resources Management (completed or in progress) or equivalent education and experience
  • 12 years of experience in recruitment or general HR; experience in a staffing agency or conducting interviews is an asset
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS or an ATS is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to build rapport and adapt to different situations
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask stay flexible and solve problems creatively in a fast‑paced environment
  • Professional and discreet when handling confidential information
  • Willing to work extra hours during busy recruitment period
  • Team player with a positive attitude and ability to build strong working relationships

Additional Information

The PNEs compensation offerings are in alignment with a pay‑for‑performance pay philosophy that recognizes individual and teamwork performance. The role is a full‑time contract position with a typical salary range of $25 - $28 per hour. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidate’s competencies including but not limited to knowledge skills experience and internal pay structures. As a part of the PNEs total compensation package this position may be eligible for other benefits subject to program eligibility requirements.
