As a recruiter at MatchBox, you’ll play an important role in connecting top IT & Technology talent with exciting opportunities, driving success for both candidates and clients. You’ll actively engage with candidates in person, over the phone, and via video, building potential and creating lasting impressions while providing an excellent service. You will work with exciting clients – from high-impact tech start‑ups, scale‑ups, to provincial government organizations, and large globally known brands in the IT & Technology space.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Attract IT candidates and match them to positions with client companies through in‑person meetings, phone calls, and video interviews.
  • Develop a strong understanding of client companies, including their industry, operations, and workplace culture.
  • Use social media to advertise positions, attract candidates, and build relationships with both candidates and employers.
  • Headhunting – identify and approach suitable candidates who may already be employed.
  • Brief candidates on responsibilities, salary, and benefits for open roles.
  • Prepare CVs and correspondence to present suitable candidates to clients.
  • Organize interviews for candidates as requested by the client, leveraging in‑person, phone, and video formats.
Qualifications
  • 1+ year of experience in a recruitment or related IT & technology role.
  • Exceptional communication skills – written and oral, with experience engaging with candidates in person, over the phone, and via video.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience managing a high volume of candidates through various recruitment stages.
  • Strong attention to detail with a diligent and persistent work ethic.
  • Superb organizational skills to balance multiple priorities effectively.
