In our Youth and Family Services, we help parents and young people who are to become healthy and restore their relationships. We work in partnership with human services, child welfare systems, juvenile courts, and community-based service providers so that together we can help individuals and families obtain the services and skills they need to live in positive, healthy ways.

We are currently looking for full-time – Recovery Support Advocate
Starting at $36,500 – $38,000 contingent upon experience, education, etc.

Summary

This position provides specialized clerical and office functions requiring detailed knowledge of Agency procedures; as well as performing routine and varied clerical functions. This position requires a broader understanding of Agency operations, and possession of skills necessary to complete specialized job responsibilities.

  • Make contact within referred client within 48 hours of notification

  • Complete intake packets for program enrollment and participation
  • Complete warm hand-off of client referral to identified Recovery Coach Program after completing initial treatment referral
  • Attend client juvenile court dates and provide written and oral testimony on the client’s recovery status and treatment progress
  • Provides referrals and crisis intervention for the individuals’ identified needs
  • Interview individuals, review records, and confer with other professionals to review individual progress, and to determine their suitability for program participation
  • Knowledge of DSM V and ASAM criteria
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners, participate in staff meetings and monthly supervisions, and participate in integrated staffing with individuals receiving TASC services.
  • Identify and refer individuals with behavioral health needs
  • Complete and submit internal and external program reports
  • Complete and maintain all required individual and program related documentation which includes, documenting the results of screenings, enrollments, service plans, reports, progress notes, discharge summaries and other individual-related activities including accurate reporting of services
  • Monitor TASC database system and contractual/external database systems to ensure Individual enrollment
Our Ideal candidate
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Demonstrated experience in group facilitation
  • Certain programs may require a higher level of education, certification and/or licensures based on contractual obligations
  • Ability to take initiatives and have creativeness
  • Flexibility in thinking and approaches to leading group discussions
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
