Overview

PHASOR Engineering Inc. is a dynamic Alberta based company specializing in engineering, design, panel fabrication, and testing/commissioning of high voltage electrical facilities. Our focus is to incorporate the latest technological advances, such as IEC 61850, to provide cost-effective and efficient solutions to power system engineering. This focus allows us to be involved in a diverse range of projects from conceptual engineering through to commissioning and startup.

Responsibilities
  • Reception
    • Answering phone calls and directing them
    • Managing emails and correspondence
    • Scheduling and coordinating meetings or appointments
    • Greeting visitors and directing them appropriately
  • Office Assistant
    • Filing and organizing paper and electronic documents
    • Ordering and managing office supplies and swag
    • Ensuring office equipment is maintained and functioning; coordinating with building maintenance or IT support as needed
    • Assisting with preparation for meetings (e.g., booking rooms, supplies, materials printed)
    • Coordinating travel arrangements and monitoring travel mailbox
    • Processing office expense reports and swag purchase orders
    • Assisting with vendor callback requests (EFT callback process)
    • Overseeing office food deliveries to ensure timely receipt and distribution
    • Managing pantry or kitchen supplies
    • Assisting with event planning or company activities
    • Running ad-hoc errands like mailing packages or picking up supplies
Qualifications
  • 2 years’ experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or similar role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
