Position Title: Logistics Coordinator

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Receptionist/Logistics Coordinator is the first point of contact when customers or vendors come into our facility. They are to ensure customers are greeted promptly, general reception duties are completed efficiently and assist with the logistics department.

Responsibilities
  • Greeting Customers/Vendors when they arrive
  • Data Entry
  • Answering phone calls and directing to the coordinating department
  • Monitor transportation activities
  • Keep management aware of progress, developments, and pending problems
  • Communication with Customer Experience on customer deliveries
  • Fills out paperwork, including invoices, bills of lading, customs papers, waybills, etc.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 3 to 5 years of related experience is an asset
  • A valid Class 5 driver's license is required
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to multi-task and execute a wide range of details and tasks quickly and effectively
  • Good judgment/problem solving ability, along with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Collaborative team player
  • Well versed in Microsoft Office Suite of products
