Qualifications

• Graduate from an academic program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).
• Certified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
• One year of experience as a sonographer in the specialty area.

Responsibilities

• Correlate clinical history with examinations and obtain previous test results.
• Document patient interactions and tests as required.
• Perform system warmups and calibrations according to protocol.
• Explain procedures to patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding.
