A community-oriented sports organization in Toronto seeks an RBI Spring Baseball For Development Coach to engage children in baseball. The role involves attending practices, preparing lesson plans, and ensuring a safe, inclusive environment. Ideal candidates have experience with youth sports and baseball skills. This position is contract-based from March 14 to June 18, 2026, with a compensation of $20.50/hour.

Jays Care Foundation, the charitable arm of the Toronto Blue Jays, uses the power of baseball to create positive social change in communities across Canada. We are currently looking for passionate and dedicated staff to deliver our RBI Spring program in Toronto.
RBI Spring is an afterschool program implemented in partnership with select Toronto District School Board (TDSB) schools designed to provide accessible and inclusive baseball/softball programming to students from grades 4-8. Beginning in April, the program runs afterschool for 11 weeks and concludes with an end of year final tournament in mid June. Students participate in weekly practices and organized games that are led by a trained Jays Care coach. RBI Spring provides an opportunity for students to represent their school, build relationships with their peers, learn valuable life-skills and develop a passion for sport.

OPEN POSITIONS: 70
CONTRACT DURATION: March 14 – June 18, 2026
WORK LOCATION: Schools across Toronto (Etobicoke, York, North York and Scarborough areas), coaches are responsible for their own travel arrangements.
COMPENSATION: $20.50/hour
APPLICATION DEADLINE: Friday, January 23rd, 2026. Applications will be processed and reviewed as they are received and interviews will be offered on a rolling basis. Candidates are required to attend an in-person circuit interview on January 16, January 30, February 6 or February 7.
