RAI Coordinator RPN - Full Time

The RAI Coordinator RPN is a critical role within our communities, impacting the lives of residents and fostering human connection.

As a RAI Coordinator RPN, your typical day will include:

  1. Acting as the RAI MDS 2.0 resource for all participating team members in the Care Community.
  2. Establishing an effective process for auditing to ensure RAI MDS accuracy and compliance with coding, rapping, and care plan updating.
  3. Reviewing and analyzing monthly RAI MDS for each resident to ensure assessment accuracy and resident needs are met.
  4. Managing the computerized Data Submission process and maintaining records within the timelines outlined by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care.
  5. Monitoring and analyzing RAI outputs and reports, and communicating findings to the management team and Support Services Office committees.
  6. Performing other duties as assigned.

Must haves:

  • Membership in good standing with the College of Nurses with at least 3 years of clinical and project experience.
  • Successful completion of RAI MDS certification annually, as per Ministry of Health requirements for AIS.
  • Strong problem-solving, assessment, and analytical skills.
  • Successful passing of the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check.

Bonus points for:

  • MDS education background.
  • Experience in adult education and facilitation.
