Job summary

A healthcare provider in Nova Scotia is seeking an enthusiastic Scheduler to support first-class cancer care administration within the multidisciplinary team. The role involves coordinating patient referrals and appointments for radiotherapy, contributing to a culture of high-quality patient care. This is a part-time role with a salary range of £24,937 to £26,598 annually.

Qualifications

  • Educated to GCSE level with a minimum of Grade 4 in English or equivalent.
  • Significant clerical experience in an administrative role in an NHS or healthcare environment.
  • Excellent experience with Microsoft Office packages (Excel, Word, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Receive referrals and schedule patients for inpatient and outpatient radiotherapy for cancer.
  • Provide coordination of the patient pathway, linking with various departments.
  • Ensure waiting time targets are met using analytical judgment within the multidisciplinary team.
