What you can expect to do here:

• Support Analysts and Engineers in performing quality analysis and control for Rail & Transit projects and proposals.
• Lead the development and maintenance of a Transportation Systems Quality Management System and support ISO 9001:2015 certification.
• Develop QMP and procedures for major projects in compliance with contract and ISO standards.
• Review project management plans including safety, quality, risk, and communication plans from a rail systems perspective.
• Monitor quality activities and liaise with client’s Quality representatives.
• Lead project audits, including quality, financial, risk, and KPIs analysis.
• Develop procedures for Transportation Systems Quality Assurance.
• Train teams on QMS, Root Cause Analysis, and Continuous Improvement.
• Coordinate resolution of technical issues with stakeholders to ensure standards are met.
• Manage nonconformance reports, change orders, and safety procedures.
• Address customer complaints and project performance issues.
• Travel as needed to support projects and client needs.

What you’ll bring to WSP:

• University degree in Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers of Ontario.
• Recognized quality assurance/control certification.
• At least 5 years’ experience in Rail Systems projects with relevant standards.
• Internal or Lead Auditor certification.
• Experience in Rail & Transit or similar fields.
• PMP certification and/or P.Eng license are advantageous.
• Experience in consulting engineering environment.
• Deep knowledge of Rail Systems QA/QC principles, methods, and documentation.
• Technical leadership and management skills.
• Understanding of Rail Systems Engineering concepts and project phases.
• Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio.
