Overview

Job Title: Quality Control Supervisor

Location: 2805 Slough St. Mississauga

Role Summary

The Quality Control Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and enforcing quality standards across Triumph’s construction sites, manufacturing facilities, and prefabrication operations. This role ensures that all work, materials, and processes meet Triumph standards, project specifications, manufacturer requirements, and applicable codes.

The Quality Control Supervisor works closely with Operations, Project Management, Manufacturing, and Field Teams to identify deficiencies early, drive corrective actions, and promote a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Control & Compliance
    • Implement and enforce Triumph’s quality control standards, procedures, and checklists.
    • Conduct regular inspections of work in progress, completed work, and incoming materials.
    • Verify compliance with drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and manufacturer installation guidelines.
    • Ensure work meets applicable building codes, safety standards, and client requirements.
  • Inspections & Documentation
    • Perform site, plant, and fabrication inspections at defined milestones.
    • Maintain detailed inspection reports, deficiency logs, and corrective action records.
    • Track non-conformances and ensure timely resolution.
    • Support project closeout documentation, including QA/QC sign-offs and turnover packages.
  • Collaboration & Communication
    • Work closely with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, Manufacturing Managers, and Install Teams.
    • Communicate quality issues clearly and professionally to field and plant personnel.
    • Participate in pre-construction meetings, production planning meetings, and post-project reviews.
    • Liaise with third-party inspectors, consultants, and client representatives when required.
  • Training & Continuous Improvement
    • Provide on-the-job coaching and training related to quality standards and best practices.
    • Support implementation of corrective and preventive action plans.
    • Assist in developing and updating quality procedures and inspection checklists.
    • Promote a proactive quality culture focused on “right-first-time” execution.
  • Safety & Risk Awareness
    • Work in alignment with Triumph’s Health & Safety policies and procedures.
    • Identify quality-related risks that may impact safety, performance, or warranty exposure.
    • Support incident investigations where quality deficiencies are a contributing factor.
Qualifications & Experience

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in quality control, supervision, or inspections within construction, manufacturing, or prefabrication.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and installation methods.
  • Experience with building envelope systems (roofing, cladding, glazing, façade, or prefabricated assemblies).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and standards.
  • Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills.

Preferred

  • Trade background or technical diploma in Construction, Engineering Technology, or related field.
  • Experience in both site-based and plant/manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with ISO-based quality systems or formal QA/QC programs.
  • Knowledge of Ontario Building Code (or applicable regional codes).

Compensation
  • Salary Range: $60,000 – $100,000 annually (based on experience and qualifications)
