Qualifications

Job Summary:

Quality Control Specialist areas of focus:

  • Daily Product checks using the standard measurement tools such as the Color Reader, Gloss Meter, Calipers, Tape Measure, Plug/Feeler Gauges, Profilometer and any other measurement tools defined by the Operational Procedures on the floor and Quarantine area.
  • RMA Validation and Customer Issue Resolution.
  • Quality Alerts – Creation, Communication and Verification of Understanding.
  • QC Training for Step up Operators and other team members.
  • Support and validate implementation of SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures).
  • Quarterly Inventory (as participant).
  • Collaborate with client‑facing QA representatives to ensure full customer satisfaction with the company's products and services.
  • Monitor supplier quality, including audits, controls, and other qualifiers.
  • Promote and advocate quality achievement and performance.
  • Complete and maintain Quality Assurance control documentation.
  • Identify relevant Quality Assurance training needs and opportunities.
  • Health & Safety – First Aid Training.
Requirements:
  • Some direct work experience (ideally 2+ years) with Quality systems, regulations, guidelines, and associated standards.
  • Direct knowledge of Quality Assurance methodologies.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills.
  • Practical experience with risk management, product testing, capability studies, and control plans.
  • Highly motivated and self‑directed capable of multi‑tasking, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Extremely detail‑oriented and analytical thinker.
  • Able to interact directly with cross‑functional teams.
  • Ability to review technical documentation, including project plans, test procedures, and design documents.
  • Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity suite.
  • A well‑defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with other departments.
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
Shift Times:

Night Shift: 7pm – 7am. Rotates Mon – Wed. one week, then Mon – Thurs the next week (84 hours every 2 weeks).
