Quality Assurance Specialist (Kinesiologist / Athletic Therapist) – Ontario. This is a remote work-from-home position. If your professional customer service skills are enhanced by a can-do attitude and a passion for Kinesiology, this full-time role is a great opportunity to join CBI Health. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be the face and voice of this accredited, innovative community healthcare organization providing high-quality services throughout Ontario.

Salary range: $40,000–$55,000 per year

What You’ll Do
  • Review reports for clarity, objectivity, spelling and grammar, and formatting
  • Review and highlight requirements for clarification and/or inconsistencies in multiple reports that the assessors will review prior to finalizing their reports
  • Collaborate with assessors to facilitate consensus opinions on multidisciplinary cases
  • Ensure all timelines are met and assist in the facilitation of adherence to such timelines
  • Follow up on any problems hindering the reporting process
What You Need To Be Successful
  • A degree in Kinesiology or Human Kinetics
  • Experience as a clinician inside Long Term Disability or WSIB Specialty programs
  • Related post secondary education with demonstrated extensive writing/editing of written material
  • High attention to detail
  • Adaptability, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments with multiple ongoing tasks and strict timelines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven critical and analytical thinking skills
  • Efficient computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, Internet navigation)
  • Experience with the IME/auto insurance sector/SABS and medical terminology is an asset
