Position Overview

Compugen is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative QA Testing Professional for a one-year remote contract. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in software development-side testing who thrives in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. Candidates must currently reside within Canada and be available to work EST.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, write, and execute comprehensive test cases based on business and technical requirements.
• Estimate testing effort and contribute to project planning and timelines.
• Collaborate closely with business analysts and developers to understand application functionality and ensure quality standards are met.
• Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
• Participate in agile development processes and provide feedback to improve software quality.
• Ensure test coverage across functional, regression, and integration testing.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in QA testing within software development environments.
• Previous experience with clinical healthcare software testing is required.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in writing test cases and using test management tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
